Welcome to Prim to my Rose, my little corner of the world where creativity and nature come together.
Hi! I’m Jaybee, the heart behind Prim to my Rose. Over the years, I’ve explored all aspects of life, from traveling the world, dancing and performing spoken word on stage, to riding dirt bikes and skydiving, to diving into my latest venture: starting a small business. Along the way, I’ve also been discovering my roots. Now, I’m embracing a slower, more intentional lifestyle, one that’s grounded in creating, cultivating, and connecting with the world around me.
I’m an artist at heart, and my journey is rooted in the belief that our lives are more fulfilling when we nurture what’s around us, whether it’s spending time with loved ones, traveling, creating art, or gardening that inspires both art and life.
My business, Primrose Studio aka PS (@_primrosestudio), established on March 1st, 2022, began with a simple dream: Inspire others to create no matter the medium or age! From curated nature-inspired paper goods to handmade pottery, every item is infused with love and care. But the story doesn’t stop there. As PS has grown, I’ve grown along with it (corny and cliché, I know, lol).
This is where Primrose Homestead (@primrosehomestead) comes in. As I’ve continued to evolve, so has my creative journey. From growing flowers and plants to experimenting with all forms of art, I’m learning (and loving!) how to integrate my passions for home and living with the land itself. I’m on a neverending journey exploring creative pursuits, weaving them into my ever-evolving lifestyle, while continuing to create the handmade goods offered through Primrose Studio.
My goal is simple: to build a life and a business that is rooted in authenticity, happiness, and growth. Whether you’re here for creative inspiration, homesteading tips, or just a dose of positivity (as well as the in-betweens), I hope you find something here that speaks to your own journey.
Thank you for being part of this adventure and next chapter of PS! Let’s nurture what’s real, embrace the process, and live authentically, together.
P.S. Check out my very first blog post here!
xoxo,
Jaybee
