Inspiration: Recent conversations with friends about life.

Today, I’m feeling nostalgic,

and decided to write a poem.

I used to perform spoken word, on stages

like life, it changes.

Life has ways of showing you…who and what’s true

the friends you meet along the way, 

who show you…their different points of view. 

Being your most authentic self is what matters,

in a world filled with good and evil, loyalty and backstabbers.

Focus on yourself and be kind,

for you’ll attract the right people, in your world

that’s intertwined

like the fibers of your being, 

manifest what makes your happy, freeing, 

whether it’s lasting or fleeting

Build your business, your garden, your career, 

your family – 

is what you make it,
